Torsten Gast heads the Product & Consulting Services department at PHOENIX CONTACT Germany and has 28 years of experience in machine safety and functional safety, complemented by extensive expertise in industrial (OT) security. As a certified Functional Safety Expert (TÜV Rheinland), IT Security Consultant (TÜV Rheinland), and CySec Technician (TÜV Rheinland), he leads a team delivering comprehensive services in CE marking, machine safety, electrical safety, and OT-Security. He is also an editor and co-author of several technical publications and an active member of the ZVEI working group TASi.
